The Core 1000 is the perfect all-round flashlight, with maximum brightness in a compact body. It has a 120-minute runtime that is ideal as either a primary light for night dives, looking under crevices during the day or stowing in a pocket as a backup. It makes a great first dive light because even if you upgrade to something more powerful down the track this will be a great backup due to its compact size. It's also an excellent choice for tech divers who are carrying multiple backups. It is charged using a USB-C cable straight into the battery, meaning it can easily be topped up in-between dives on a liveaboard or charged in the car on the way to the dive site.

The light comes with a 14500 rechargeable lithium-ion battery that is recharged through a USB-C port in the battery. So you can use any USB-C cable to charge it. It can also be run on a AA battery in which case the output drops to about 1/3 of the output on the lithium battery. This can be quite useful if you want less light.
