Many divers find that night diving is their favourite type of diving. Night diving opens up a completely different diving environment to diving during the day; at night, nocturnal species come out of their hideaways, such as octopi and Port Jackson sharks.

On this course you will learn special diving techniques associated with night and limited visibility diving, such as how to properly use a dive torch and torch communication techniques, navigating in the dark, buddy procedures, buoyancy control, interacting with nocturnal aquatic life, and the potential hazards with diving at night or in limited visibility.
